The eight
carpal bones run in two rows of four.
*Scaphoid,
lunate, triquetrum, and pisiform make up the proximal row running from the
radial to ulnar side.
*Trapezium,
trapezoid, capitate, and hamate make up the distal row running from the radial
to ulnar side.
